2023 Athletics BC Championships Jamboree Results
Over 40 Langley Mustang High school athletes have competed in their high school zone meets over the last couple months and a whopping 32! made it to the provincial championships that took place this past weekend at our home track; Mcleod athletic park.
18 Mustangs made the podium (1st,2nd,3rd) and another 15 were ribbon finishers (4th-8th place)

Next up the annual Track & Field Jamboree this year in Nanaimo BC.

This past weekend (Aug 5-7 2022) the Legion National youth track and field championship was held in Sherbrooke Quebec. The Mustangs had 4! athletes make Legion standard and qualified for Team BC/Yukon.
The Athletes who competed for Team BC at the Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships and their amazing results!! Well Done, we are all very proud of you!
Noah Louwerse (U16) – 1200m (gold), 800m (gold), 1600m Medley Relay (gold)
Mackenzie Hurtoboise (U16) – Pole Vault (gold)
Hayden Hall (U18) – 400m Hurdles (silver), 4x400m relay (gold)
Madison Gordon (U18) – Heptathlon (gold)
CONGRATULATIONS to ALL our Mustang Athletes who competed at the Track & Field Championship in Kamloops.
Lots of personal bests were achieved, bronze, silver and gold medal finishers!

Langley Mustangs have been busy running the concession stand for the BC High school Track & Field Championships June 9,10,11th, as well as preparing for the 43rd Annual Pacific Invitational Track and Field Meet June 18th a highly coveted and well attended meet in BC.
All before one of the biggest events to come to Langley for Track and Field, the Canadian Track and Field Championships June 22-25 Sponsored by Bell Media, which will bring all star athletes from across Canada to our little town and great stadium. Volunteer links in article link.
