Grout wins Silver in High Jump for Team Canada at the NACAC U18 Championships in Queretaro, Mexico

Picture

Aiden Grout captured a silver medal with a jump of 2.08 in the U18 high jump at the 2019 NACAC Championships in Queretaro, Mexico hosted from July 9-11. Aiden was part of a 25 member contingent of U18 athletes that competed alongside the U23 team for Canada. Mustangs Jumps Coach Kevin Harrison was pleased with this athlete’s result in less than ideal conditions of travelling afar: “His first attempt clearance at 2.08 was a strong performance and demonstrates his confidence at competing on the big stage. With this type of consistent jumping it is only a matter of time before he is successful at 2.10 or beyond”
