Samantha Matthewman will be attending the University of Alberta this Fall and competing for the Golden Bears. Samantha capped off her season in 2019 with a Gold Medal on the WGSS 4 x 400m Relay team that went 3:57.87 at the BC HS Championships. Brooke Mussche is starting her collegiate career with the University of Memphis Tigers this Fall.. Brooke was the 2019 Langley Christian School Athlete of the Year & ran times of 2:13 for 800m & 4:42 for 1500m this past summer to cap off a great high school career.
Ian Vandergugten is moving south to Grand Canyon University this month to start his collegiate career with the GCU Antelopes this month. Ian finished his season in style winning the BC High School Championships in the 110m Hurdles.
Their Mustang teammates & coaches will miss them and wish them all the best! We look forward to seeing them at the track when they are back in Langley
