Cross country (XC) is an endurance sport. Athletes will be developing their capacity to run further distances. This program is for athletes who are becoming more focused on pursuing endurance running as opposed to speed / power activities.

2024 Cross Country Meets
LOWER MAINLAND CROSS COUNTRY SERIES (Fall 2024)
The LMXC series is made up of 5 races for JD – U16 and 7 races for U18, U20, Seniors and Masters. JD – U16. Athlete must run 4 of the 5 races in order to qualify for the series awards. U18/U20/Sr/Masters must run 6 events. Points are awarded based on placement in specific categories. This year the BC Championships will count as double points for JDs and as two races for U20/Sr/Masters. The best 3 or 6 event points are used to calculate series winners.
