Junior Development Coach
— Chris is a certified (SPS) Sport Performance Specialist, certified (BCRPA) Personal Trainer CPR & Fitness First aid with over fifteen years of practical experience in the sports and fitness industry; he is entering his seventh season as the Head Strength & Conditioning coach of The BC Lions Football Club.
Chris has developed an off-season and in-season training program that have proven to be successful, producing athletic champions and award winners such as 2006 CFL MVP and all time leader in receiving yards Geroy Simon, 2011 CFL MVP Travis Lulay, 2011 CFL’S special teams MVP Paul McCallum, 2011 CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian nominee Montreal Alouettes kicker Sean Whyte and the 2011 CFL’S Canadian MVP Edmonton Eskimo Jerome Messam.
In addition to training professional athletes, Chris is also a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Youth Program coordinator and mentor for the Game Ready Fitness GRF youth Athletic Development program where he has the opportunity to follow his passion which is not only to build great athletes but to mentor the younger athlete and help them pursue their dreams all while pointing them in a positive direction in life and in sport.
